No Peas Please…Authentic Avocado Salsa
Guacamole was invented by the Aztecs. The Aztecs referred to guacamole as ahuaca-mulli which translates roughly to avocado sauce or avocado mixture.
When the Spaniards encountered the Aztec empire back in the 1500s, the locals were making this sauce called ahuaca-mulli. The dish was prepared by mashing rich, green avocados, sometimes with tomatoes and onions, hot peppers and a touch of cilantro.
Today we have many delicious variations. Often, a dish does not need to be complicated to be flawlessly delicious. Please enjoy my “simply” scrumptious “simple” Avocado Salsa.
